Road & Track Magazine: The Boot

As senior editor at Road & Track Magazine, I was in charge of the back of the book, called The Boot (British speak for “the trunk” of a car). This was in addition to helping edit and oversee the rest of the magazine. The Boot fell entirely to me to fill. It was thought of as a “magazine within a magazine,” with its own cover page and unique content that was typically more human-interest in feel, with a warmer visual tone. In this particular spread, from November 2018, I wrote the opener and the Dissected feature and edited the others. I also worked with the art director on layout and photo selection.
